The Birth of DarkNite Manor

I have officially done it!  I have closed escrow on my new house.  I am so excited to have finally upgraded after 12 years in 560 sq ft. 12 years this month as a matter of fact. I purchased my 1 bed room condo when I was 21 and here I am 33 and I have finally upgraded to a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom.. and here is the best part ;)... 2 car garage house. No neighbors attached to me at all direction. No freezing carport to park in that allowed everyone to know when I am home or not at any time. Full size washer and dryer instead of my itsy bitsy teeny weeny stackable unit that took 2 hours to dry one towel. Full and I repeat... FULL sized kitchen! Yay!!  I am so excited to move into my new home.

I am super excited about my new porch.  I have always been in love with old victorian homes with wrap around porches, but lets be serious.  I can't afford one of those.  So when I saw this porch I just knew it was the house I have been waiting for.

Another part I love is the vine ivy in the back that covers the fence.  It gives it a very old english cottage feel.
