Madonna was yet again... AMAZING!!!

Ok so again I know this is late...  I am trying to catch up on all my fun fulled events from the past couple of months.

As you all may remember, I went to the Bay Area a month ago for the Madonna Concert in San Jose for my SECOND time seeing her.  She was of course AMAZING!!!!!!! Nobody puts on such a theatrical and entertaining show as that incredible woman.

I would say it wasn't as good as the first time I saw her in 2008 but it was DEFINITELY a phenomenal Show and She freaking ROCKS !!!

A week of Concert Heaven getting closer.

So, I know I mentioned on an earlier post that I got VIP tickets to see Madonna in October I thought I would make mention again.  You see...  I get home from Europe the weekend before that concert.  I don't care how tired I will be after my first week back to work, while recovering from some serious jet lag, because she is my lifetime freaking idol, MADONNA!!!!!

This will be my second time seeing her.  I am beyond excited about it. Well to make the week even better (not to mention a little more exhausting too) I got myself tickets to the Rise Against concert on the 2nd as well.  I bought those tickets the morning they went on sale.  I LOVE Rise Against. HUGE FAN! No way was I missing that show either.  So needless to say.  I am going to be really tired the following week but it is going to be soooooooooo UNBELIEVABLY worth it!!!!!

Music is the air that I breath

via
How would I ever be able to survive in this world without my music.  I am 100% dependant on music to function.  I have been for as long as I can remember.  Seriously....  I can recall my obsession and co-dependant relationship with it going as far back as around 3 years old.  I can't drive anywhere without having something playing loudly for me to stay calm with (yes I get pretty serious road rage), I can't focus on work without it over powering all of the normal hustle and bustle sounds of the office in the back ground, and I can't make it through any difficult or even just annoying life scenarios without it.  It's almost as if as soon as I turn on music my blood pressure instantly lowers.

Now, I have a pretty eclectic taste for music.  My favorite would definitely be Rock music, which makes this next statement seem all the more strange, but my all time favorite artist is Madonna.  LOVE her, idolize her, obsessed with her, admire her, and just all around think she is the most amazing artist and person on this planet.  See Here I remember dancing and singing along to her first album on a hourly basis.  I knew every word to Burning Up (which by the way is my current ring tone as well) and owned her album on vinyl before she had even been introduced on MTV (a year later, by the way).  I must have been 5 or 6 years old. When the video for Material Girl came out I had the entire dance memorized and got up in front of the TV or the radio and danced along with each move every time it played.  I have owned every single one of her records, cassette tapes and Cd's. Not to mention every single one of her movies... Good or Bad.  Yep... I think you can definitely say I am a loyal and over zealous fan.  I don't plan on ending that any time soon either. ;)  Michael Jackson had a solid second place in my heart as well. :)

So aside from my favorite "artist" I have to throw out there that my 2 favorite bands are 3 Doors Down and Evanescence.  I told you I had eclectic taste.  Now, just because I use the word favorite does not in any way mean that these artists are the end all be all in my world.  I LOVE many many bands and artists.  I am, what my friends so lovingly like to refer to as, a Concert Whore. I go to many many concerts, as many as I can get my hands on tickets too.  I couldn't even begin to list all of the concerts I have been to in my life.  These include, Rock, Alternative, Pop, Soft Rock, Heavy Metal, Country and Classical; just to name a few.
If it weren't for music I am pretty sure I would drown in this life.  It is truly the  air that I breath.

I am the type of person who gets extremely moved by the lyrics.  Now don't get me wrong, I just melt when I hear a really good guitar solo, but the lyrics will get to me every time.  I guess because I have always been a "words" kind of girl.  I have been writing poems, lyrics and short stories since I was 10 years old.  So hearing the passion and heart in the lyrics of a great song will knock me right over.  I can quote lyrics all day for different situations in my life and different feelings I am having.  It seems there was always some artist who was able to relate to something I was going through.  On many occasions I would even say music has saved my life.  I think it would be safe to say that I am probably not the only one out there who feels this way too. :)

What a year so far.... Madonna...again!!!!

Well Friday is finally here... For a while, I thought it for sure would never get here this week.  This has really been a long week. But I can't complain too much. Already this year I have had a couple of BIG things happen.  I have a lot to look forward to this year so a long week here and there is a small price to pay I think. :)

First..... A couple of weeks ago my sister and I got out VIP tickets for the Madonna Concert in San Jose later this year.  yep... you read that right!  VIP Tickets!  I am so excited! I have idolized and been obsesses with my hero Madonna since I was about 5 years old.  I have owned every record, cassette tape, CD of hers as they come out.  I own every movie of hers. I got to see her live in Oakland, California in November 2008.  It was the single most exhilarating, phenomenal & breathtaking moment of my life.  Driving home to Reno in a blizzard the next day didn't even phase me.  I was honestly able to say I didn't care because I can now die happy getting to fulfil the number one experience in my life that I have dreamt about.

Well, somehow I have been lucky enough to have the chance to see her again!  This time in style.  VIP.  What does VIP include you ask?  Well it includes an exclusive Madonna Tour t-shirt, and Tour concert poster, a commemorative Concert Ticket, A premium reserved seat, and a VIP Host.  A VIP Host!  Can you believe that.  no waiting in line for water.  I will have someone there to fetch me water, soda or dinner.  NICE!!!!! We only got the smallest VIP package but I am very happy with that.  The small Package cost us $250 per person.  The highest package was $1750 per person.  Yeah.  I'm good with the small package. :)
I can't wait till the show.  My second time seeing my Ultimate Hero!!! It's going to be an amazing night!!!!!

Totally worth the stress and heart attack we had during the purchasing process.  As a ICON fan club member I have special access to presale tickets.  So I got online at the moment the tickets went on sale and tried getting the 2 VIP's.  You are only given 2 minutes to complete the entire purchase and I of course.... timed out.. Then I try again and there is only 1 package at my level left now.  Damn it!!!  so I refresh and refresh waiting for someone else to lose out on the deal by being timed out.  I also gave my sister my password so she could try.  So she finally gets in and she manages to get the purchase completed with 1 second to spare.  ONE SECOND TO SPARE!!!!!!!  Seriously cutting it close!!!! It was so close and our adrenalin was pumping but we got them and we ill be having a great time!!!

I will tell you about the next amazing thing that has happened so far this year that I have to look forward to on my next post.  I have to keep you in suspense right?
